CAS Records was founded in 2003 by Clarence Steele with the goal of merging into larger markets through licensing and distribution of it's catalog. From the beginning, CAS Records has always strived to release quality music that impacts worldwide audiences.

The label has gone on to produce music with well noted artists such as Jeanette Baker, who sang "Hey Girl, Hey Boy." In 2008, the label recorded and produced Jeanette's "Smell The Roses" wich was featured in a Blair Underwood documentary. Jeanette currently is working on a new CD scheduled to be released April 12th, 2011.

New signing to the label, Jacob's Weekend, has been working hard to prepare for the release of their debut CD entitled "Unexpected." The writing style, vocals, and instrumentation of Jacob's Weekend is phenominal. They feature a nice blend of acoustic, alternative, and country.
